Lisa Groshong
Co-Founder & Operations Coordinator
About Lisa
Lisa is Kasey is a co-founder of COMO Craftcycle Collective. Lisa is a lifelong sewist, crafter and scavenger who has always enjoyed the challenge and satisfaction of upcycling discarded materials. She was especially inspired by the thrifty creativity of artisans she met while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia. Lisa holds a PhD in Natural Resources from the University of Missouri and works as a consumer insights researcher.

Kasey Hammock

About Kasey
Kasey is a co-founder of COMO Craftcycle Collective. She is social worker who has always used creativity, crafting, and art in her professional work. Her love of using a variety of materials and methods in her art has always inspired her to be creative in reusing and recycling to help reduce waste and increase sustainability. Kasey holds a PhD in Social Work and works helping nonprofit professionals do their best work at Partner for Better.

Erin Robinson
Board President
About Erin
Erin is a dedicated social work educator who channels her creative energy into everything from painting pet portraits to decorating cakes. With a deep passion for helping others and fostering community, she brings both heart and imagination to all she does—especially when inspiring creativity in her two children. Erin holds a PhD in Social Work and is faculty at the University of Missouri.

Laurie Kingsley

About Laurie
Laurie joined the board in 2025. Laurie is an educator and lifelong DIY-er. She runs a tiny little art gallery and loves to gather with friends for various arts and crafts opportunities. Laurie holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction and is a Teaching Professor in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Missouri.

Zoë Westhoff

About Zoë
Zoë joined the board in 2025. Zoë works at the University of Missouri as the Community Engagement Programs Coordinator in the Community Engaged Learning Office. She is an artist of different mediums, including linoprints, fabric, colored pencil, and digital art. She owns a small pop-up business, selling art and upcycled goods. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Affairs from MU

Ashlee Christiansen

About Ashlee
Ashlee is an artist and an educator who primarily works in ceramics, photography and painting. While earning a BA in Art with an emphasis on Art History, she studied ceramics and printmaking. After college, she served for three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia. She returned home with a passion for education and the arts. She is inspired by the passion and lack of fear in young students.
